This assignment requires you to prepare and present a Persuasive speech. The assignment requirements are listed below.
Oral Presentation Requirements:
The length of the oral presentation should be between 3-5 minutes. You will be allowed to have one index card with notes. Reading from the index card will not be allowed and should only be used as a reference, if necessary. The presentation should highlight and be an overview of the topic you selected.
Please be sure to have a specific argument that includes a clear and concise introduction, body (with three main points) and conclusion. You should be able to demonstrate within your speech that you researched this topic via cited sources, statistics, etc.
You are required to submit a full sentence outline with a reference page as well as have a visual aid to present to the class during your presentation. The visual aid can include but is not limited to a PowerPoint presentation, a photo, an artifact, a video clip (no longer than 30 sec.), etc.

Today everything is moving online. Approximately 88% of Americans have access to the internet and more than 6.7 million students have enrolled in online courses. People of all ages can use this method to pursue their studies while doing their jobs. Even Online teaching refers to courses that are taught through the internet. Online teaching requires both the instructor and the learner to take active roles in learning. The instructor acts as the facilitator and organizes the activities that engage the students directly. It is designed to stimulate dialogue between the learner and the instructor via the internet. It is just the same with regular learning only that it is done through the internet. There are reasons why online education is beneficial. These reasons are; people can learn what they want, it is cheap, and it enhances learning.
Online learning is effective as many people can attend the class. People who live in remote areas and others who can online study after working or even those that prefer to learn independently find it much comfortable to attend the class as one only requires the internet and a computer to be able to learn CITATION KoS17 \l 1033 (Ko, 2017). Online learning offers more opportunities for reflection, interaction and in-depth discussion than analog teaching where the instructor and the students meet maybe once or twice per week.
