Dawn Dorland and Sonya Larson’s story is one in many. Unfortunately, it is not the first time an artist or writer has accused another of stealing. The main thing here is that Larson’s work, although borrowed from Dorland’s experience, reflects life. In my opinion, it feels like Dorland wants to be compensated for her story being used by a writer. However, this is not what she wants. Instead, she wants Larson to keep off her life experience.
