The article has two stories where the author, Kwame Anthony Appiah, commented on. I cannot entirely agree with Kame on the first story but agree with him in the second story. Honesty is an important virtue, but it is subjective, as Appiah (2021) asserts. In my view, the boss needs to set an excellent example for the employees. Openly using a fake identity means other employees can copy her and be dishonest. This may be detrimental to the company’s performance. Other employees might use fake identities and give services to the clients that may be disastrous if something goes wrong because it will be hard to identify the employee responsible.
