Identity is an inner energy that manifests externally via a variety of appearances, acts, behaviors, and ideas. Individuals are defined by a variety of factors that are intertwined and formed within a complex but permeable and malleable framework (Noonan, 2019). Language, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, experiences, culture, character, faith, and even other people's views are just some of the factors that influence how people see themselves and their place in the world. My personal concept of identity is similar, however I feel that it is traits that distinguish one individual from another. My family, faith, cultural background, friends, and life experiences all have an impact on my identity. These factors vary differently for each person, but I feel my friends and household are the most important. Your father, mother and siblings have the biggest influence on you since you spend almost every day with them. My parents have instilled in me all of the essentials. If you want to see the real me, put me in the company of my family. In their presence, I become more joyful, wilder, gentler, and a better guy. I know I'm a better individual when I'm with them because they allow me to be myself without fear of being judged. Since I have a sibling with whom I must contend, they are the ones who ensure that I reach my goal. It clears my mind of all distractions and constantly reminds me how important my future is. My friends are a similar group of people that assist me in this way. Almost everything I do is influenced by them. They have an impact on my actions by affecting what I do, what I enjoy, where I go, and what I am interested in.
