Introduction
When I was young, I was fascinated by two things; veterinary medicine and cooking. I was so good at Biology since I knew that I needed it to pursue veterinary medicine. Today that is a dream come true. My passion for animals is unquestionable. Despite my love for animals, I have maintained my passion for cooking. When I am not doing veterinary-related things, you will find me cooking. I find a lot of pleasure when I prepare meals for the family.
How my passion for cooking started
Watching television series on cooking stirred a lot of interest in cooking. While I was still young, television series were mushrooming. It was common for food-related programming was becoming common. America had ushered a period when eating food was no longer enough; people need to be entertained by it. I loved the way the friendly hosts would walk the audience through the steps. My notebook was full of recipes I had written from the various cooking shows.
My parents noticed my love for cooking. My mother, in particular, started teaching me how to cook. At first, I was discouraged because I did not think that my food was as good as the TV hosts prepared. My mother, however, encouraged me that it takes time to become ...
