Fixed Versus a Growth Mindset
The fixed and growth mindsets play a crucial role in our lives, especially with reference to the shape that it takes. Success in life is predetermined by the mindset that one adopts and how easily they are able to cultivate their agenda. The fixed mindset is one that is associated with persons who believe that they have natural abilities, traits, intelligence and talents among others. This means that, these are people that simply assume that their talents and intellect are the sure way to their success. On the other hand, there are those that are believers in the growth mindset. These are people that believe that most of the skills and abilities can be developed. They also believe in constantly working towards what it is that they want in their lives. Ideally, for them, being intelligence is not a guarantee that one will make it in life. They have an insatiable need to improve themselves and the talents and intelligence that they have are only the starting point of their success.
