The global assessment of the quality of health in hospitals has a main focus on the physical cure and emotional cure has been left unattended due to a lack of skills and complexity to evaluate it as part of the health outcome. The assessment of the emotional cure should be based on the aspect of an emotionally healthy person as individuals who are capable to control their behavior and emotions after the treatment course. I would measure the emotional aspect of cure based on the Lieberman and Stuart (2010) proposition that an emotionally healed patient has the ability to handle post-treatment emotions and stress, establish strong relationships with medics and people around them, and being able to handle medical challenges. Just as it takes some effort to maintain and build physical health, it is also the same with emotional and mental health.
