Issue (1): Manufacturing Functions are Disorganized 
Consultant: Frank and Lillian Gilbreth
Frank and Lillian Gilbreth valued efficiency. Their approach can be used to resolved disorganized functions. Their approach enhances clarity in in developing best approaches to organizing such functions. They conceptualize the concept of efficiency by identifying and replicating one optimal approach to completing task (Mees, 2013). In the case of Smithfield’s Custom Furniture, the concept of varnish and dye experts, as postulated by Frank and Lillian Gilbreth can be used to identified best actions and practices that can be applied in every operation to complete the tasks and replicate them to gain more efficiency.
Issue (3): Lumberjack Disagreement Methods to Cut Trees/Load Boat  
Consultant: Fredrick W. Taylor
The theory supported by Fredrick Tailor can help resolve this issue. Tailor believed that it is manager’s role to determine the optimal ways or approaches to completing tasks by offering appropriate training and tools for workers, matching a worker to a specific job and monitoring work performance. In this case, lumberjacks can cut trees and ship them. With the help of Fredrick W. Taylor, as a consultant, the issue can be managed by carrying out relevant training amongst workers on the best methods on bests ways of competing their tasks to enhance efficiency.
