Introduction
Different institutions find it challenging in coming to good times with the element of adult learning. Considering the fact that some institutions incorporate the element of adult learning within their programs, several areas within adult learning frameworks may be neglected. This depicts the fact that quality adult learning methods lack. Adult learning is a process that should therefore be understood beyond knowledge acquisition that is aimed at changing behavior.
This process includes the process of revising and rearranging knowledge that had prior been received or the increment of self-knowledge and an individual’s ability. Considering the fact that there are several adult learners who have the will to continue with their education, there is a need to develop effective adult learning approaches within institutions of learning (Favor, & Kulp, 2015). This paper therefore seeks to look at different literature materials on establishing appropriate approaches that can be employed by institutions to ensure that adult learning is effective. This paper therefore seeks to develop a formal sentence outline into this research paper.

Returning to school as a mature adult is one of the hardest challenges that adult learners need to cope with. This requires a rapid adaptation in adjusting to a new environment and in successfully completing the curriculum (Favor, & Kulp, 2015). Adult learners therefore need to ensure that they balance their class time, work, school assignments, including their personal and social lives to meet this goals. Learning institutions also have an obligation of developing appropriate programs that meet the needs of the learners.
