capture the reader’s attention with an enticing first sentence
The rest of the article provides the details of the event or story.
The language of the article should not be in first person. Rather, it should be written objectively and use the active voice.
Quotations should illustrate the events that occurred and use descriptive language.

No army can withstand an idea whose time has come, not even the ruthless Nazi army could .On September 4th , 1944,the allied forces decided time for the liberation of Northern Europe had come.All the military might that could be summoned by The British was channeled towards Germans. As the sun set that day, The allied forces had taken over Antwerp.Things looked thick for the Germans, but they still held on to Schedlt.It is then that the Mighty army of Canada upset them from their defensive position and took over the estuary. The battle was bloody and an estimated number of six thousand Canadian men were killed, However, their sacrifice was not in vain, it pushed Netherlands towards its Liberation.
