The "60 Minutes" episode about false memory, called "Picking Cotton," was a very educational and eye opening video. I have realized that our reality can be very deceitful. Our perception of our lives depend on our ability to think and retrieve from our memory, and our mind’s interpretation becomes our belief. This episode has made me realize that people are susceptible to mistakes especially when they are involved in a very emotional and intense experience. The human emotion has the greatest ability to influence one’s belief, as experienced by Jennifer.
