How I Solved the Problem of my Expired Visa in High School

Being in high-school teaches one to be open to new knowledge, experience, and adventures in life. When I wanted to go back to the United States to study, I found out that my Visa has expired. This meant that I could no longer apply to the school I want and I won’t be able to study with my friends anymore. At first, I felt devastated and challenged. I was not expecting this situation but now it has arrived into my journey. I was shocked about it but I also knew that some part of it was my fault for not anticipating the expiration of my own visa. This challenge was brought upon by my own ignorance, and accepting that fact was the first thing to do if I wanted to create a solution to the problem.
As a young person, I am humble and I know that there are a lot of things that I have to learn. There are flaws in my actions and in my character, but I am willing to pursue the correct choice if I am made aware about it. When my visa expired, I took responsibility and I made sure to do the needed paper work and other efforts in updating it. Even though I am young, I know that I should be responsible for my actions. Having this obstacle was a wake-up call for me because it guided me to be more aware about the system of education and citizenship and student rights.
