Plato's Allegory of the Cave explains the nature of reality. The famous Greek philosopher asks a number of philosophical questions in this text and shares his ideas and thoughts in the form of conservation between Glaucon and Socrates. The major argument is about Forms (Peterson, 2017). Plato keeps himself on the place of Socrates and argues that the world is made up of reflections of best, ideal and more perfect forms. The materialistic things, according to him, are the ones we can see, smell, hear and touch, and they are just half-seen images of the reality of the forms.
I totally agree with Plato’s argument since human beings have been limited in their thoughts and ideas. Beyond this world, I think that there is another world where things are far more beautiful, powerful and consistent than what we see here. The one objection I have with...
