The Evolution of the Learner
Learning is a multifactorial process that requires determination combined with a positive outlook. It develops the learner’s knowledge and skills by understanding the theoretical concepts and applying them to the practice. The relevance of the application can be seen through the experiences, which may have a positive or negative impact on the individual. Nevertheless, each experience can lead to a change that will help the learner navigate the journey toward the success of one’s chosen career path. This paper shall tackle the evolution of the learner by analyzing learnings digested by the writer throughout college, and it shall pinpoint the specific experiences that held the writer to his current position in life as a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Marketing Management.

These served as fragments that are needed to understand the main points of the course holistically. Hence, the first few months dropped by with improvement in knowledge but only a few challenges.
The key events that served as the turning point of the learner’s evolution were experienced during the Spring of 2021. It is secondary to the shift of subjects from a few major and many minor from the previous quarter to all the major subjects. To enumerate, the subjects included Organizational Behavior and Administration, Principles of Marketing, Product and Operations Management, Statistical Decisions in Management, and Introduction to Management Information Systems. These subjects are the actual fundamentals of the course, and a comprehensive understanding of each subject is necessary to have exemplary performance in the future and to continue developing one’s critical thinking skills for the future subjects. The most significant subjects that helped enhance growth and development are Operations Management and the Principles of Marketing.
Operations Management involves business process redesign (BPR), lean manufacturing, and reconfigurable manufacturing systems. Although these are different topics, the common ground lies in understanding organization and time management (Hayes, 2021). These variables allowed me to become systematic and efficient. From personal experience, a systematic approach has been achieved by combining traditional and novel technologies. Examples of these include pen and paper and the use of Microsoft Excel and other related applications. Using these approaches, I built technical skills that allowed me to differentiate the needs of one task to another and categorize the function of each department. It supported orderliness and logical reasoning, which are essential in preventing chaotic and perplexing transaction...
