EFFECTS OF THE SEPTEMBER 11TH TERROR ATTACK Name: Instructor: Institution: Date: Introduction The September 11th terror attack occurred in the United States of America in the year 2001. It was a tragedy that affected so many people both directly and indirectly and even affected the economy. So many people, roughly over 2000 people lost their lives in the attack and some were left severely injured and other traumatized. Effects of the September 11th Terror Attack The September 11th terror attack had a massive impact on USA’s economy. The World Trade Centre was destroyed completely, cars were damaged and public and private property. The figure of the cumulative damage is approximately 55 billion dollars. So much money was also spent to treat injuries of people who were affected by the attack. Till date some of those people affected still suffer post-traumatic stress over the attack hence had to go for psychological treatment. On that tragic day, people lost their lives (almost 3000 people died) and thousands were injured. (Santhanam, 2018) The country had to spend a lot of money in treating the injured and also so many people lost their jobs due to the destruction of the world trade center.
