When referring to supply chain management, it is the supervision of the materials, information, and investments that transact between the buyer/consumer and the retailer/wholesaler (Croxton, Garcia-Dastugue, Lambert, & D.S.Rogers, 2001). In both articles by Blanchard (2009) and Chenoweth et al. (2012) they both have similar conclusions for a successful relationship between the supplier and the client information, incentives, and recommendations for better performance have to be shared. Any lack to adhere to the requirement would lead to mainly the client being on the losing end with most of the performance related issues deteriorating. Moreover, deterioration in performance leads to poor finances and finally the supplier also suffers due to lack of payment. Some of the similarities between the two include:
