The purpose of this procurement plan is to secure a contractor who qualifies to ensure the construction of a high-quality, custom home within five months at cost not to exceed $150,000 is met. The contractor should be qualified in all directions that being in terms of professional and experience, legal requirements and permits, to have attained the lower bid in terms of the project total cost. Procurement is therefore defined as the process of services and goods acquisition from an external source (Northern Texas University, 2007).
