Essay Instructions:

What you want to do instead is to provide citations to the primary texts that you're referencing and then to explain those citations in your own words.
Compose an essay, 3-5 pages in length, in which you describe a scenario that would be deeply problematic for you as a leader. Then, apply two of the three decision-making paradigms you elaborated in your Competency 1 Post-Test to that scenario. Finally, explain what course of action each would prescribe and attempt some explanation about whether the two paradigms disagree with one another.

Leadership scenario
As a leader, a scenario that will be deeply problematic for me is my juniors disrespecting my decisions and orders because they think it is wrong or inappropriate. Not every person in an organization will like all the decisions a leader makes. It is even worse when they start protesting for the decision made. For example, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the media tourism industry, and it does not receive tourists as it did before. It means the revenues have also reduced drastically. As a human resource manager in a tourism firm, I have two options to save the company from collapsing. He would slice the salaries by half without consulting the workers or any stakeholders. If the firm continued making losses, Kant would fire half of the human resources to save the situation. I need to take any necessary steps for the greater good of the tourism company because it would be on my leadership skills if it collapses. The first step would be to slash the salaries to the employees by half. This should be an understandable decision even with the employees because they see that tourists' inflow has dropped. Anybody who protests the decision should be sacked. It is their duty as employees to mind the firm's future, too, because it is their source of livelihood. If the decision to cut the pay does not work, I will send some employees unpaid leave. This means they would still have their jobs back when the situation comes back to norma...
