Data collection plan.
This data collection plan is for a qualitative study to elucidate the importance of health in dental services and assess how to fluoride treatment works in dental fields. Culture and health practitioner competence and skills influence different health outcomes, especially those regarding dental issues (Housman, J.et.al, 2012). This research aims at researching the involvement of dentists in the outcome of their patient's dental hygiene.
What data is needed.
Data will include licensed dentists who have experience in fluoride treatments and adults visiting dental clinics. The adults will then be grouped into two: those with pre-existing dental problems and those with none. Those with pre-existing dental problems will also be divided into those on treatment and those yet to start treatment.
Where is the Data
Since the data involved is primarily hospital-based, specific dental clinics run privately or publicly will be identified, and dentists and patients visiting will be involved. The clinics need to be operated legally, and consent for research will be sought from the in charges.
