The first opinion that was of interest is Armbruster’s argument, "Dishonesty has to be taken seriously" (Jacobs, 1992, p.7). I agree with this statement and support the need to treat dishonesty like any other crime. Usually, it is rare to find one being prosecuted for not being honest in their actions. As a result, people do not see the need for integrity in their businesses. Many businesses are suffering because they are no stringent policies that help counter dishonesty.

Secondly, the statement concerning the difficulty of being honest when everything is done in a dishonest way is of significance. Ben asks, "How can people stay honest, even if they want to when the whole system is rotten" (Jacobs, 1992, p.18). In my view, one can make a difference and change the norms by being honest in their activities no matter the levels of existing dishonesty. The shift of blame to the rotten systems is not justifiable since this will only add more problems.
