A community is a group of people in the same geographical area with common goals, values, objectives, norms, communication, and support behaviors. It is crucial to involve the community and develop a collaborative relationship to identify issues that need to be solved. To develop a sense of belonging between school and community, it is significant to have leadership consisting of school and stakeholders from the community (Kaffenberger et al., 2013). Secondly, choosing a designated individual from the community located in the school to oversee some of the school projects creates trust and effective coexistence between school and community. Thirdly, effective and constant communication on challenges and progress helps evaluate what is working and what is not working and develops a strategy and framework of the way forward.
