Ban smoking in public places
Imagine walking in a park on a beautiful sunny day, breathing in fresh air. Then suddenly you are covered in a haze that prevents you from breathing in that fresh air. It ruins a good mood. That is the feeling that non-smokers get when they are greeted with the dreaded cigarette smoke. Smoking is a form of air pollution. This includes outdoor smoking and smoking in public places. This can cause many problems with many people. That is why it should be taken care of. Smoking should be banned in public places.
When talking about smoking, it is not surprising that numerous health concerns will come up. These health concerns are not just for the smokers, but also for the people around them. Secondhand smoke or passive smoking is much more harmful than the one that the smoker takes in. It is an unhealthy mixture of the smoke that the smokers exhale and the burning end of the cigarette. There is no safe amounts of secondhand smoke that an individual take. This can cause multiple diseases like asthma attacks, cancer and, other horrifying sickness for the secondhand smoker.
Today, many try to resolve this issue. There are public establishments that have a designated area for smokers. Some businesses won’t go smoke-free because it may take a toll on the business.
