Henry Wakhungu, a lecturer of the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, mentions in this video that during his face-to-face classes, he observed that most of the students were not fully engaged and that they did not ask any question during the lecture. Only a couple of students were found to be observing and taking an interest, and Henry wanted everyone to observe, learn, understand and ask questions throughout the lecture. The CITL has helped him develop an interactive online version of the course that uses self-study resources provided by textbook publishers, such as study guides, homework problems, videos, self-assessments and case studies.
