A Difficult Choice I Have Made
There will come a time in our lives where we must make a lot of choices. Every day we make choices and decisions. We make mundane choices like what to cook for breakfast or dinner, what shirt to wear, and more. These choices come in many different forms. However, sometimes, we end up with situations where we must make difficult choices and decisions. Choices that can affect and potentially change our lives, for the better or for worse.
These difficult moments may come when you least expect them or when you are approaching the concluding scene on one of the various moments in your life. Some of these choices are getting married, getting a divorce, resigning from a job, working far away, breaking up, letting go and moving on, having children, not going to university, and more.
Making these choices are not easy. They take time. You can't just make them on the spur of the moment. You can't also just take them back once you decided on one thing over another. These choices are life-changing, and that's what makes them difficult.
I’ve had a couple of these situations where I’ve had to make choices that I’m not comfortable with or I’m not sure I am happy with the outcome. However, we always come to a point where we end up choosing to do something for the better even when we are doubtful that it is.
Among those various difficult choices, I’ve ever made, the one thing that stood out to me happened during my first year in university.
