Here is examples that were described that I cannot use:
Temperature regulation. Presence of food in the digestive tract acts as a stimulus to the endocrine and nervous systems causing the release of digestive juices that contain enzymes needed for chemical digestion. The glucose (sugar) levels in the blood cause the release of hormones (insulin or glucagon) that raise or lower blood sugar levels as needed to keep the blood glucose levels within a fairly narrow range. cells in our body are constantly metabolizing raw materials. Most of the wastes from this process are acid in nature. Although acid products are constantly being poured into our blood stream, the blood pH in healthy people remains between 7.35 and 7.45. Our kidneys, lungs and other acid-base regulating systems are constantly at play to maintain this steady state.
