At the moment, the business industries have been experiencing several challenges in running operations. The coronavirus pandemic has taken over the world's systematic living. Because of the pandemic crisis, almost all industries are affected and adjusting. In the business industry sector, establishments have to close, stocks at stake, the economic standing of some countries are weakening. These are all primarily due to the health protocol that people need to stay at home for social distancing. One of the work adjustments that employers turn to is telecommuting (Irawanto, 2020). Telecommuting has been a work option for some industries long before the coronavirus pandemic. This type of work setting enables an employee to work anywhere so long as the work to be done permits. The second convenience of telecommuting is that it can serve people's efficient side (Khalifa, & Etezadi, 1997). Some people would prefer to work in a particular environment (e.g. coffee shops, libraries, parks, homes). It gives them the energy and motivation they need to finish their work. The third convenience applies to work that usually goes to sites or requires travel. Because internet innovation allows us to communicate conveniently, we can go to places and update the main office at the same time. These conveniences tell about how telecommuting impact work efficiency and comfortability (Khalifa, & Etezadi, 1997).
The Disadvantages
However, on the other hand, telecommuting can be a disadvantage. Becaus...
