Michael Faraday was born in Newington, Survey, a section of South London. Michael’s father was a blacksmith from the northern region of England, and his mother was a lady with great wisdom who supported his son in his difficult childhood. Michael Faraday had three siblings, and the family experienced challenges in meeting their basic needs since their father was often sick and unable to work regularly (Williams, 2022). The family belonged to Sandemanians, a small Christian section that offered spiritual guidance to Faraday during his entire life. Spiritual sustenance was the most crucial influence in Faraday’s life and strongly affected his perspectives on nature.
