In the initial scenario where the subject is running towards my patrol car with his right hand hidden behind his back, I would not pull my weapon. It is not objectively reasonable that the subject poses a threat to my life and other community members. Seemingly, the subject is not violent and is simply running towards my patrol car. It is difficult to justify that the subject is armed in this situation.
