This paper seeks to demonstrate that an act that seeks to re-engineer home-based responsibilities, household chores, and obligations would nurture more social equity and balance. An act that balances home-based responsibilities needs urgent refocus on consideration because the current system appears to overburden given gendered based on engendered home responsibilities. In my gendered act proposal, I intend to play a more active role in home responsibilities, including inclusive participation in taking care of children, as one of the core responsibilities that men often shy away from. Furthermore, I intend to assist my partner in home chores such as cooking as part of the gendered proposal act, which will create an equitable distribution of family resources without necessarily overburdening one partner.
