Archaeological investigations are concerned with the change from foraging to farming since these experts are trying to reconstruct historical activities. Furthermore, prehistory helps to build evidence on the activities that are currently being done by humans. For instance, prehistory helps to understand the cultures surrounding domestication and farming. Moreover, scientists have drawn inferences on the conditions needed for farming concerning the climate through prehistoric studies. Through the transition from foraging to agriculture, archaeological activities provide evidence on some activities in the present. The existence of some crops she's also explained through the study of this change.
Several archaeologists developed hypotheses to explain the reason for the change from hunting and gathering to farming. The study is essential since it helps several sectors of the economy understand the history and origin of activities today. Furthermore, the research is vital in the understanding of the evolution of man. The knowledge of the transition gives more historical information on man's intelligence. The man also gains new skills such as counting during this transition. However, the discussion fails to focus on this change due to the development of man's intelligence. Most of the hypothesis is concerned with environmental changes and living conditions. Moreover, all the publications have been developed based on uncertain evolution theory.
