Economy and Culture in the United States America experienced massive changes from the 1920s in both economic and cultural aspects. After the first world war, most countries were rebuilding and recovering from its far-reaching effects, providing an opportunity for enhanced growth in different spheres. In the United States, demographic shifts in culture brought about new freedoms, especially for women who were now allowed to vote. With the booming economy, more people could afford basic commodities due to lower prices, raising their living standards (Tindall & Shi, 2016).
