Most countries' presidential election stirs heat because it is the most powerful position in the entire election. In the united states, 2016 was the year that the presidential election was more intense compared to the other published nastiest election in the past. There were so many issues surrounding that election that supporters of Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton were almost engaging in violence (Bond, 2022). During this election campaign period, citizens of the united states were able to give their views on who the preferred candidate openly. As technology developed, election procedures and campaigns were publically published through media for the citizens to know what was happening at every step. The topic which crossed the line in the past 20 years of elections is every candidate would do anything to be the president of the United States. Others did not care what was at stake so long as they became the next president of the most powerful country. On the other hand, the incumbent president did not want to lose his seat after the first term; most tried to defend their seat for the second term.
