The Yoga style differs from the approach because a wide range of styles of Hatha Yoga exists, each representing a unique dimension of performing Yoga. While the style depicts how the individual will do the Yoga, the approach explains its rationale. Yoga as an approach is centered on the motivation for doing it, such as achieving physical body flexibility and strength. The yoga style involves how individuals can practice and perform it daily, physically or by meditating (Baptiste & Scott, 2016). Yoga as a style provides an overall system of conscious as well as skillful living by dictating and regulating how individuals should eat, work, sleep, and relate with others.

Hatha yoga is the most popular today because it employs breathing, postures, and meditation to create body balance and harmony in life. Postures are designed to tone, align, and strengthen the body. Breathing exercises act as the bridge between the body, mind, and spirit to promote body balance and strength. Meditation involves approaches tailored to achieving stillness and clarity of mind. In addition, hatha yoga exercise improves sleep quality among individuals. In this regard, hatha yoga exercise can influence body relaxation by producing serotonin hormone, leading to drowsiness resulting in sleep (Talib et al., 2020). Moreover, the hatha yoga postures and breathing approach result in a calm, peaceful mind and emotional feeling, creating a suitable environment for individuals to sleep.
