I am 32 years of age hence falling in Xennials generation popularly referred to as generation X. However, I mostly identify with the millennial or generation next whose age gap is between 22 and 31 years. Personally, I love the millennial generation. However, there is a striking difference between the two generations. The generation loves material life with hip-hop music, late night antics and unhealthy eating habits with fatty foods, processed and microwave foods. The millennial generation is dependent hence they need constant supervision. The millennial are used to receiving feedbacks from parents in their early lives with close involvement from teacher and parents. Besides, their education system is a continued support and encouragement from a mentor that lead to cooperation. However, the professional positions are full of challenges.
The generation usually doesn't perform well with no supervision hence they do not deliver a quality outcome. Therefore, to modify their attention, the millennial generation needs close attention with a leadership style that makes them feel good, enables them to do good work and frequent recognition. Lastly, I am personally surprised by the kind of foods and luxury lives that current college student love. Besides, they love the lively life with numerous friendship groups who love outings and join clubs. Such kind of life surprises me compared to the time I joined the college as the first year.
