At some point in the course of human life, every sane person will at least have a moment of reflection to that point where the world existed with no order in the name of a society, government, or any other form of administration. The ability of mankind to invent, innovate, and manufacture new objects with the aim of making their lives better have collectively been termed as technology, and it is becoming the greatest impact on the state of nature in every aspect including the environment, culture, and even the society. The impact is even dramatic with the adoption of industry 4.0 technologies.
The environment has lost its natural state as a result of technological advancement in various ways, particularly in the three major sources of livelihood to mankind: agriculture, manufacturing, and the service industry. New technologies have facilitated the development of genetically modified crops, compromising their natural states. Also, various agricultural practices have been made possible as a result of the adoption of new technologies, and the primary purpose of land and water sources has been heavily commercialized through agricultural practices. Besides, technology has facilitated the development of herbicides that are capable of altering the viability of particular crops naturally. The advancement in technology in the agricultural sector has both positive and negative impacts on humanity.
Technological advancement is the heartbeat of the manufacturing industry in the contemporary world. Through technology, products such as airplanes, motor vehicles, and other industrial products have emerged.
