Team Communication, Strategic Planning, and Power Point Presentations

1. In order for anything to succeed, people must work together towards a common goal, must work as one unit or else everything will be disorganized. The way a presenter communicates makes a big difference, because it is at this time that one is selling the idea and must make sure that the audience understands it before they can support and be part of it and use the resources available to get the project started. Communication is very critical not only in initiating projects but also in our daily work; communication can keep the project going, or it can destroy it. For our outreach program, what are positive ways that the team will communicate among themselves and with the community?
2. It is important when starting an outreach to have goals in place and to evaluate if those goals are being met. The decrease in re-hospitalizations may have been one of the main goals of an outreach program. The better patient satisfaction rating is always great for any hospital/organization. In the organizations that I have worked with, many managerial positions put an immense emphasis on patient satisfaction; this helps the organization in so many ways. This affects funding and insurance as well as their perception to the rest of the community. What other ways would the goals of the strategic plan affect the outreach program?
3. Power point presentations are a great way to communicate new methods to stakeholders on implementing ideas of outreach programs. By utilizing this method, the presenter is able to capture the attention of individuals that obtain information through visual and auditory approaches. It is essential when initiating a new vision to maintain a variety of open communications between the leader and stakeholders of the organization. By doing this it provides the stakeholders to adjust, adapt, and embrace the vision that is presented for the future. What do you think about this comment or any suggestions?
