Below is an example of this storytelling for 15 months child.
Developmental story telling-15 months
-15 months -The 15th is both payday and tax day. A tax collector walks up to you with a giant table and a red crayon. He scribbles all over the tablet and then gives it to you. While you are trying to read the scribbles, the tax collector takes a drink from your cup. He feels the drink is not sweet enough so he takes a single cube of sugar out of the sugar bowl. Instead of placing the cube in to drink he stacks it with 1 more cube. He tries to stack a 3rd but knocks the whole stack over. That was very exciting and he bends down to pick up the cubes. 1 by 1. On the floor he notices your wallet and remembers he is there for taxes. You give the tax collector a 1 step command to “kiss my foot.” (One step command and 1 body part) Then use four letter words. (He can speak 4-6 clear words) You crumble the scribbled paper into a ball and he takes it back. You scream “Out” and he understands though you did not point. Frustrated and exhausted the tax collector crawls up the steps for his 1 nap of the day.
Thank you.
