Work shifts have an impact on the well-being of health practitioners, and care should be exercised to improve health outcomes and the workers influencing their quality of life. The work shifts influence continuity of the health care services provided the team of workers work in different shifts and provide health services at different times in a given period of days or weeks. The work schedule involves 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, and evening) but the system is also continuous. Furthermore, the shifts are linked to the working environment, which influences the level of absenteeism. The 8-hour shifts are preferred and a shift that is more than 12 hours they would increase exhaustion, dissatisfaction, and the risk of burnout
