Understanding the various circumstances that affect an individual's health and well-being is essential for any healthcare professional. It allows him to have better knowledge about how to provide a holistic type of care based on the individual's physical health and other factors. This paper will focus on analyzing the social determinants of health for Young minorities or those teenagers who belong to minority groups. Accordingly, the analysis would focus on two main theories used to determine these: neighborhood and built environment and income and its distribution. The author believes that by analyzing these relationships, it becomes possible to create a more appropriate and practical approach that considers the specific circumstances they are faced with.

Young minorities are considered to be a vulnerable group because of the circumstances that they live in. As of 2018, the National Census Data reports that over 50% of children aged are Whites, whereas the remaining 50% are comprised of 25% Latino, 14% Blacks, 4% multi-racial, and 1% American Indians CITATION Cas20 \l 1033 (Casey, 2020). However, although the higher numbers of Whites compared to other youths from different racial ethnicities, the number of Young White individuals who are impoverished is only 27% compared to 60% of blacks, 59% of Hispanics, and 56% of American Indians, among others CITATION Fed21 \l 1033 (Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics., 2021). This highly suggests that despite the efforts to curb racial differences and discrimination, young minorities are also some of society's most economically and socially vulnerable sectors.
Aside from income and distribution, another theory regarding the effects of social determinants on health relates to neighborhood and environment.
