Long Term Objectives
One of the long-term objectives was to ensure that the target audience, who are the elderly, are covered with insurance and are qualified for other government benefits. This is so as to shield them from any medical eventualities that usually arise at the most unexpected of times.
Secondly, the work aimed to ensure that members of the public can apply for government benefits on their own whenever they attain the required age. This provides self-sustainability for these individuals altogether.
The other is ensuring that the overall health or medical outlook of the elderly in the society has improved through the reception of quality care. This can be achievable through the step by step efforts in the same.
Short Term Objective
Obtain an updated data on the elderly members of the society who have succumbed to COVID-19 so as to have a rough idea on its prevalence within this portion of the population.
Ensuring that the elderly can have caregivers availed to them in order to be readily assisted in case of any needs or emergencies.
Attend to part of the audience who are in critical condition. The aim is to ensure that these individuals get proper medical care due to their advanced age and the challenges that often come along with such.
