Chief Complaint (CC): “Mr. Nehring wants to fire me”
History of present illness (HPI)
N.B., a 25 years old single female was presented for psychiatric evaluation for failing to execute work duties appropriately in particular, failing to make a single sale within three weeks. The patient has been ailing from hypothyroidism, a health condition currently being mediated by taking levothyroxine medication daily. The patient exhibits paranoia always being skeptical about her workmates and boss. She argues that her boss is related to the problem she is experiencing. She feels that Nehring her boss wants to fire her because of having an intimate relationship with Erick. Ideally, she feels that Nehring her boss is afraid that Erick, her lustful supervisor might elevate her to the managerial position that would render Nehring jobless.
Branning gets personal by conceding that she has a health problem that keeps on deteriorating her health by day. She concedes that she experienced pain and suffering in her neck and parts of her back that keep her worried noting it is killing her gradually. The patient also conceded that she had a broken heart and felt this condition was cancer despite lacking diagnoses from a doctor proving the existence of the condition.
The patient exhibits feelings of grandiosity. She notes that her supervisor had a unique style of walking toward her seductively. She is given easy assignments and a chance to air out opinions in the meetings. She acknowledges she is beautiful an aspect that the majority of people are attracted to.
