Read the section Questionnaires Versus Interviews in the textbook. How are these guidelines similar and different from data collected by nurses when giving care? What principles did you identify that are new to you but could be important in improving your collection of clinical data?


 
Depending on whether the researchers utilize the interviews or the questionnaires, this affects the quality of evidence and findings (Polit & Beck, 2016). Nurses need to collect information and data that is unbiased, while this is prioritized to get the best evidence available. Researchers also make interviews to avoid respondents misinterpreting information, and this is especially for interviews.  Nurses also need to collect quality information to inform their decision making, but the health care organizations should support such efforts.
