In carrying my research on motivation, application of content analysis techniques has played a significant and useful role in research. I have found content analysis a vital tool in communication especially in description and interpretation of latent content in my research. The qualitative approach to content analysis has been significant in helping me analyze and interpret a variety of data. Since the review of various health and medicine literature contain different opinions and unresolved issues on motivation the qualitative approach of content analysis has been of important help. Different authors hold different opinions on the broad area of motivation. This can be attributed to their different social backgrounds and beliefs. Through content analysis, I have been able to select a unit of analysis for issues of motivation.
