Introduction
Reimbursement in the healthcare industry refers to payments that the diagnostic facility, doctor, or hospital receives after giving the medical service required. In most cases, the government or the insurer covers the medical facility's cost or part of it. The reimbursement to a hospital on behalf of an individual is done if they have a healthcare cover. Usually, the payment occurs after offering the service, the reason it's known as reimbursement (Salmond and Echevarria 2017).
Changes made in the workplace regarding the reimbursement should be communicated to the nurses in a concise and timely manner. Understanding the fundamentals of hospital cost budgets is extremely important since it forms the basis for reimbursement and sheds more light on its performance. In the workplace, sudden changes may confuse the nurses, and a hospital needs to make nurses aware of the changes and the benefits they will bring them. Increase of awareness of health care financing issues to the nursing staff can be communicated through;

The changes can be shared via email, where the nurses get information on the vision and reasoning behind the change. The practice can be fostered as part of organizational culture to ensure the nurses are aware of the decisions made and implemented in the organization.
