The essence of nursing includes inquiry into the possible relationship of phenomena in t patient-centered care where literature and research studies have theoretical frameworks in which models or theories have been used. The fundamental concepts of person, environment, health, and care have been used to explain nursing theories (Butts & Rich, 2017).
