Implementing an EBP in a facility seeks to make significant adjustments in the routine operations of a department and improve the overall outcomes. In the context of the nursing shortage issue in an inpatient setting, increasing the number of nurses through acuity-based staffing would trigger various benefits for patients and healthcare providers. However, one must test the project’s impact by measuring specific change indicators within a specified period. As a result, outlining these outcomes is a progressive strategy for demonstrating the effects of a change in a facility.
