In his video titled Fundamentals of Management, University of California’s professor Dave Nagy asks a number of questions. What are the main drivers of organizational behavior? How does organizational behavior relate to change and lean? How do people react to the changes? He then describes that the vision, mission, and goals of a healthcare organization need to be clear, comprehensive and concise (Nagy). Healthcare is, no doubt, one of the rapidly growing industries in the world. The healthcare organizations face lots of chances and are responsible for providing people with outstanding and reliable services. As the competition among the healthcare organizations is at its peak, the managers should always develop strategies that promise to improve the firms’ performances and productivity (Newell & Marabelli, 2016).
The firm should be ready to deal with all types of patients, provide them with different treatment options and medications. The organizational behavior is directly linked to the mission statement, goals, and objectives of the health service providing company. We cannot imagine achieving the desired results or meeting the target if our behavior with employees and patients is not good.
