John Snow (1813-858) remains one of the historic epidemiology events that changed the face of the world as it singled out the cause of cholera. Cholera led to lethal diseases in the 19th century and affected Britain's vast parts. The disease was transmitted and spread by bad air or foul smells from decomposing materials during that era (Merrill, 2015). However, the thinking dominated Britain's medical department, which created the general board of health to investigate the act.
However, this was not over until John Snow, respected physician and anesthesiologist of Queen Victoria, showed a significant link between cholera and contaminated water, nullifying the earlier version.
