Older Adults Patient Education Issues Essay and Interview
Healthcare professionals use patient education to promote and improve patient health. As a health promotion tool, patent education acquaints individuals with knowledge and skills to control their health and improve their well-being. According to Adams (2010), effective patient education and communication helps patients make informed decisions, allowing them to attain ideal health conditions. Impact of Communication on Patient Outcomes
To promote the value of patient education and achieve its intended goal, healthcare professionals must apply effective communication skills while considering the patient's needs (Adams 2010).
