White & Griffith (2010) said that healthcare systems are established in every society. Healthcare systems are commonly made up of healthcare providers and the administrative force. Usually, in terms of labor and duties, the healthcare force is the one who gives services to the patient. They are the ones that make the patient feel better and be treated inside the facility. Healthcare force is divided depending on their duty and function, the administrative force, including the people who do the paperwork and ideas and concepts that can make the healthcare system balance. Without the presence of these people, there will be no harmony because there will be no one to control the healthcare force. Governance involves ethical practice and measurements to fulfill the mission and the vision of the organization. It mainly acts for the quality and financial sustainability of the patients providing healthcare for everybody in the community. Everyone inside the facility has its responsibilities. These include the professional healthcare providers who have the function to give quality results and appropriate diagnosis. Healthcare systems provide services for people to achieve a healthy life. In accordance, these healthcare systems have their governing body that decides and gives approval for every decision they come up with. Aside from the health force, each healthcare system needs the administrative body to maintain the right order of the company.
White & Griffith (2010) state that governance, on the other hand, is needed in any institution. Without the governing body, the system cannot function well. There will be no rules and regulations implemented. There will be no standardization amongst every nation’s health policy. Governance is facilitated by the decision-makers, who strive for the equality and balance of all healthcare systems. Healthcare systems focus on providing quality service for their patients. The patients act as the primary recipient of the products and services of the facility. Without the patient, the healthcare system cannot function well. Governance does not overcontrol things, but it is a means for guidance and stability. Governance provides us with strategic ways to maintain the success of the organization. Without it, the people will not be able to multitask between healthcare work to legislative work.
In addition to the lawmaking function of the healthcare facility, they must provide accreditation, training, seminars, licenses, and anything that can standardize the healthcare practice.
